Medication was available through the on-campus psychiatrist, but the psychiatrist is currently on sabbatical, so internal care will be available after September 2024. If you are seeing a doctor now and need medication, please contact us. We can help you find an English-speaking doctor and the information you need.
Your consultation will be recorded in writing with your consent, but will not be disclosed to outside organizations or others, except under confidentiality restrictions. Recordings will be kept securely for five years and then destroyed.
Everything you say during counseling will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed to others without your consent. However, in accordance with Article 15 of the Personal Information Protection Act and the Ethical Standards for Counseling Professionals, confidentiality may be restricted in the following cases. If there is a risk of suicide or self-harm, if the student's behavior poses a serious threat to the well-being of others, or if there is a suspicion that the student has a clear mental illness, relevant information about dangerous behavior, such as suicide attempts without consent, may be disclosed to the guardian, department, or related organizations in order to protect life and body.
We don't currently offer many psychological tests in English, but we do have a few available, including personality tests. If there's a test you'd like to take, please contact us.
You can work together on a variety of issues, including adjustment to school, academics, personality, interpersonal, and family relationships. Mental illnesses such as depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, etc. can be treated at the on-campus psychiatry department. (* Currently, the psychiatrist is on sabbatical and must go to an outside hospital.
