04. Will my counseling or psychological test results be kept confidential?

Everything you say during counseling will be kept confidential and will not be disclosed to others without your consent. However, in accordance with Article 15 of the Personal Information Protection Act and the Ethical Standards for Counseling Professionals, confidentiality may be restricted in the following cases. If there is a risk of suicide or self-harm, if the student’s behavior poses a serious threat to the well-being of others, or if there is a suspicion that the student has a clear mental illness, relevant information about dangerous behavior, such as suicide attempts without consent, may be disclosed to the guardian, department, or related organizations in order to protect life and body.
